Drabble 4: Rose (Dactyl and Europa)

Dactyl couldn't have been happier - he had Europa to stay at Ida and Chiron's place, and he was trying to summon the courage to ask her out - he was more than a little scared about it, considering how protective Jupiter was over her. One morning, Europa was down eating breakfast, when Ida came in with the post - and a huge bunch of roses.
"Oh those are nice, Ida-nee!" said Europa happily, "They'll look lovely in one of your vases!"
"Ehh?? They're not for me, Euro-chan, they came with a note attached, for you." Dactyl raised his head at this, and narrowed his eyes.
"Who sent them?" he demanded. Worried, Europa read the note out loud, which said: *Beautiful roses for a beautiful little lady, hope you come back soon, I'm missing you*
"There was no name." she lamented, "It's not as if they're meant in a romantic way, right?" Laughing, Chiron clapped a heavy hand on Europa's delicate shoulder.
"Maybe you have a secret admirer!" he laughed.
"You'd better not!" said Dactyl rather loudly, before realising what he'd just said and retreating hastily from the kitchen.
"Tsun-tsun indeed..." sighed Ida, "Don't worry Europa, I know who it is who sent them, they wanted to mess with Dactyl. Tell him they're from Ganymede. He'll feel better about it then."
"Ok. Who sent them, though?"
"Look out of the window."
Surely enough, with a spade wielded by Chiron shaking from the impact of the thwack, Titan was lying in a dazed heap under Chiron's topiary.
"I found this little ratbag in the garden!" yelled Chiron, "Please let me kill him, then I'll have a good night's sleep."

In Saturn's house, Mimas laughed to himself.
"How impertinent of Dactyl to try to win you for himself, Euro-chan Titan's such an idiot for carrying it out, *mwahahaha*"
